Art for the quiet hours

The pale hour is the short stretch of low light at dusk and dawn, when a room goes still and one candle is enough. That's the mood I make art for: candlelit still lifes, frosted botanical plates, and soon moody northern landscapes.

ThePaleHour is a one-person studio in Denmark. Each design starts as an idea for a subject and a mood. I create it with AI image tools, keep only the few versions that are good enough, and prepare each one so it holds up as a large print.

Every design comes as an instant download and as a print. Prints are made to order by my production partner Gelato, at the facility closest to you.
